How To Open An Amazon Sellers Account From Pakistan?

Sellers in Pakistan may now open Amazon accounts, thanks to the country’s inclusion on the Amazon list.

In a May 21, 2021 tweet, Abdul Razzaq Dawood claimed that Pakistani vendors may now register with Amazon seller central and begin selling since Pakistan has now been officially included to Amazon’s seller list.

“Amazon has confirmed that Pakistan has been added to their Sellers’ List in response to my previous tweet. In terms of our E-Commerce, this is a huge accomplishment, and it will lead to a whole new generation of young entrepreneurs. A huge congrats to everybody involved!”

Join as an individual or a professional:
Choose a plan that suits your needs, and then log in with your seller account’s email address and password. Click on “establish a new account” to proceed. If you already have an account, you can use it to log in, or you may create a new one if you prefer.

OTP verification:

Next you will get an option to enter a one-time password (OTP) generated by Amazon that will be sent to the email address you provided earlier, this is used to verify your email. After this click on the button “Create your Amazon account”.

Business location and Business type:

The next step is to share your personal details and this is a very important step. Make sure your fill the options carefully:

1-  Business location is the country where your business will be in function. Amazon will verify it later, so it is very important to provide authentic information. If you don’t own a bank account or residency in some country which Amazon permits to do business, then you cannot select Pakistan as your business location.

2- Business type: Here you’ll be asked to choose your business entity from the options given below:

  • Publicly owned business
  • State-owned business
  • Privately-owned business
  • Charity
  • None, I am an individual

3- Your full name: That should be accurate to resist any issues (stay authentic).

Next click on the button that says “Agree and Continue”. This will take you to the next step.

Step 1 – Personal Information

For the completion of registration of Amazon seller account, it’ll require you to provide some personal details which most importantly include a form of identification (either your own passport number or your driver’s license) and your contact number. Provide your Pakistani phone and verify the OPT code.

Click on ‘next’ to proceed further:

Step 2 – Select Marketplace

After the completion of the ‘Individual Information’ section, check the box below the marketplace(s) and select the place where you would like to sell your products. It actually refers to the location of an Amazon store (e.g. Amazon.ca, Amazon.co.uk, etc.).

Step 3 – Verification through billing information

You’ll be prompted by Amazon to input the number, expiration date, and name associated with one of your credit cards.

Once you’ve entered the address you provided previously, click the “Next” button to continue.

Step 4 – Information for Store/Product(s)


A few questions will be asked about your Amazon shop and the items you’ll be selling once you complete step 3 of the validation process.

You’ll have to reveal yourself here:

What is your Amazon store’s name?
Whether or whether your products have UPC numbers is up to you.
Is the goods you’re selling on Amazon made by or branded under your company’s name?
Do you have a trademark on any of your goods?

Select ‘Next’ to proceed. Relax, you’re just a few steps away.

5th Step – Amazon Verifies Your Address
Upon completion of the previous stages, you will be requested to verify the business address (provided in the options above).

Amazon will send a unique code via postcard to the address you provided on your order form, which you must enter on the address verification page. To proceed, click “confirm.” A week is not out of the question.)

The verification procedure may be completed by entering the given code into the “Enter code below” section and right-clicking on “Next.”

After verification your registration process will be done.
